Why does Jeff Garcia get such little respect?

I would agree with you, except for the idea that he's soft spoken. Garcia is one of the most fiery guys in the league, according to his various teammates. That's what seems to spark the fireworks between himself and Gruden. He's a ballplayer that know how to win games. His performance on Monday night, under constant pressure, was a real testament to his ability and will to win. And his ability to find his only threat for 200 yds, even under that pressure, only speaks higher of him.
