Friends credit as co signer?

Agree that your friend is foolish. How about you clean up your own mess and while you're doing that, you can buy a used motorcycle for cash. Then when your credit is cleaner you can finance a new motorcycle by yourself. Depending on the loan amount and your income, etc, that may be enough, but I wouldn't recommend, unless you're ready to lose your friend over a motorcycle.
