I'm in love with this guy...?

I'm a 17 year old girl and I have fallen with this man and he's kind of 39 years old. He's a friend of the family and proper lush :) is it wrong to be so infatuated with a guy more than double your age? I really want to make a move but I'm scared he's going to reject me. Help me! What should I do?
