Husbands, how did witnessing your wife give birth affect you (how did you feel after)?

The birth of my son was caesarian because he had a really big head (like 44 cms) and didn't fit. I watched it all and I even took pictures. It made me appreciate her more and understand all the post csection pain and recovery she would have to go throw. I pampered here a lot while she was recovering, I used to send her flowers once a week, I bought her bags of chocolates, take out everyday, I used to rub her feet and back, I bought her a new tv and I used to lay in bed with her for hours just to keep her company. She says it was the best time of her life.
