What do you do with a scam check letter when you get it?

I get that sort of mails as well. I presume that these letters are randomly sent out to random emails and the best is to just ignore it. No point reporting this case to the police because there are thousands of scams out there which are similar. So just ignore and burn the check! Nothing in life comes for free.
