Was Minnesota CRAZY for trading Mayo?

I remember when it happened everyone was talking about what a good trade it was for MIN and how stupid Memphis was for giving Miller....OJ MAYO IS AVERAGIN 21PPG!!...Not only is he doing that..but hes doing it more efficiently than kobe, lebron, or d-wade ever have shooting 47%, 42%!! FROM 3 (shooting more and at a better %% than miller)..AND 90%!! FROM FT......and the way marc gasol is playing they have a future trio there with them 2 and R. Gay...minnasota on the other hand has Jefferson with a bunch of mediocre perimeter players. What a stupid trade
