My son my have come in contact with the measles! Help?

I'm waiting for the Doctor's office to open up. My son may have come in contact with the measles. We took him to the doctor a few days ago and they have him a quick 'once over' and said its a cold. Without really examining him. He has had cold symptoms, congested, running nose, a bit of a fever, diarrhea... does this sound like the measles to you? He has eczema... or what I thought was eczema and now I'm so paranoid that it might be the measles. I'm waiting to go to the Doctor.. if you can offer an insight I appreciate it. Thanks
